What is a Recovery Coach?

- They do not provide clinical help; rather, they help the person engage with treatment, and also help with various skills needed for recovery.
Benefits of Becoming One?
You have the option to work for yourself, set your workload and decide how often you want to work.
Unlike other positions, you are not confined to any place, set time or mode. You can work at home, in an office, or even outside. How you conduct your sessions as well is up to you; you can coach over the phone, online, or in person. You can also offer coaching one-on-one or in a group setting.
This career path is a chance for you to encourage others to pursue a life without substance abuse. If you'd like to see change, be the change.
Demand for Recovery Coaches is high and unchanging.
Recovery Coach Details
We use CCAR's curriculum to train. It is the standard curriculum for Recovery Coaching and Peer Support.
On its own, you are considered to be a 'Recovery Coach,' and you can find job opportunities, or provide recovery services, but you are not a certified professional.
However, this training does count toward various certifications/designations, such as:
- Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC)
- Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA)
(The positions above refer to NYS certification)
(The position below refers to a non-state binding designation)
Recovery Coach Professional (RCP)
Not sure of which certification/designation to pursue? You may want to book a free consultation.

$300: Paid Upfront
Refundable until deadline given.
This is simplest of all the methods, and is encouraged highly, especially to those who want flexibility over cost-effectiveness.
$250: Early Seating
Non-Refundable, no exceptions.
Similar to Early Admission, with this method, you would have early and priority access to registration, however once you sign up, you are committing to not cancelling your spot. Those who would pursue this likely have taken the time picked into careful consideration and have no doubts about becoming a coach.
$100: Deposit, then installment plan (Seating)
Refundable until deadline given.
This method has cost-effective and flexible attributes to it, making this a popular choice. You still pay $300 in total, but sometimes it helps to break down the cost.
After you make your desired deposit ($100+), someone will personally contact you and work with you on creating a fitting installment plan.
The training time and date & its proximity is the most important factor in deciding what payment option is best suited for you, so it may be best to consider them all as early as possible.
Whatever you choose, you will not regret choosing us as your trainer.
